WINEDS® Premium System incorporates all the features of the Benchmark System, with the addition of a comprehensive imaging package including spectrum imaging, digital mapping, point analysis and linescan capability.
The Premium System includes all the hardware and software that make up the Benchmark System as well as hardware for digital imaging.
For information regarding EDX interface software, New Generation Digital Pulse Processor, Power Supply and detector please refer to the Benchmark System.

With WINEDS® Imaging you will be able to acquire spectra, X-ray maps, linescans and do single of multi point analysis.
Spectrum Imaging
WINEDS® Imaging can acquire a full dead time corrected spectrum for each pixel or spectrum matrix binning. This data is stored during acquisition and becomes like a virtual sample; you can store it indefinitely and reanalyze it at any time in the future without having reload the sample in the electron microscope.
Spectral images can be acquired up to 2048 x 2048 pixels. Spectra can be retrieved from a single pixel or from an analysis area.
WINEDS® Imaging offers flexibility in the form of adjustable dwell times and image sizes.
In order to make working with spectrum images faster and easier, WINEDS® keeps data to a reasonable size by using aggressive data compression of spectrum image files.
Digital Mapping & Linescans
WINEDS® gives you a flexible acquisition setup. X-ray maps can be acquired at up to 2048 x 2048 pixels. Linescans can be acquired in any direction with any number of points. Linescans can be exported as Excel files.
Automated Multi Point Analysis
WINEDS allows an infinite number of analysis points to be setup. The Multi Point Analysis runs automatically and on completion transfers the results directly to Microsoft Excel.
